"I have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and have produced time chainage charts throughout my career. I used to employ a variety of techniques for creating time chainage charts. Before personal computers it was with pen and paper, then it was with spreadsheets and sometimes CAD. All of these methods work perfectly well except that they are slow and do not lend themselves to the changes that all schedules undergo. In the 1990s I looked to see what dedicated time chainage software was available on the market. Not finding any commercially available software suitable for my needs, I decided to develop an application myself." - Peter Milton
TimeChainage was the result.
Version 1 was released in 2000 and was tested with great success on the London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 project. Since then TimeChainage has undergone considerable development and has been used on a variety of projects around the globe, both large and small.
Peter Milton Planning exists to provide the construction industry with the best Time Chainage and Line of Balance software.
